“I remember two years ago in my sister’s weeding, the day when I officially became the last single in the family. The wedding ceremony and wedding party went great and were so ok for me. There were no ‘rascally’ comments from my extended family. I was happy and blessed by all the prayers. Everything’s just so perfect.
Then when we got back to the hotel, a bunch of aunties & nieces came late, they run to me excitedly, then gave me big hugs and kisses… that was the GRAND drama…
they were thinking I am the bride…hahahahaha…..
[ it's so funny, even for the perfect-melancholic woman like me ;p ]
So…
There’s nothing wrong to be the last single in the family… it just proves us as the stronger one in the family… hehehe… Cheer up… :D

So, last single in the family, that has been the hot topic among my close friends lately. A best friend of mine officially became the last single in the family 2 weeks ago. While me myself, has been being in the ‘club’ since 2 years ago. My friend’s prayer was she wishes she would be in the club at least 1 year only. Well… we wish so.

I could not remember when my sister got married 2 years ago, did I pray something about my dream wedding too? I do not think so. Not because I did not want to say a prayer for myself at that time, but because I had prayed for my own wedding since years ago before my sister’s wedding… but I guess God thinks my sister needs it first than me. I imagine God thinks that I can be the stronger in the family, the independent one, and He still thinks the same till now… it has been two years now for me to be in the club…

My friend wrote in response to my notes, she mentioned about the saying that goes: safe the best for last. Hahaha… so, as we are the last single in the family that means that we are the best. Oh I hope so…

However, yeah, I know I beg GOD, please I don’t wanna be in the club more longer. This year, I got some wedding invitations from friends of mine (hey, few weeks ago I even got one from my ex, he’s gonna get married next year, in February, good…) and I pray God please, let me be the one who sends the wedding invitation next year… hahaha…I wish.

My friend, jokingly said to me to prepare the wedding invitation without the groom’s name on it. Oh dear…

Anyway, it’s always good to have female single friend, especially when you reached 30-ish and still single…

It always feels good when you are with your single friends and enjoy life to the fullest and know that GOD has special purpose for you with your singleness and have confident in HIM that everything will be beautiful in its time.

So, at the end of the day, still I say…. Thank You, Lord…
